August 2003 : The picnic this year was great, lets have another one next year
June 12, 2004 : We need more volunteers, Asma walk around Pittsburgh with a sign around your neck.
June 26, 2004 : We need more sponsors and volunteers, everyone start begging.
July 10, 2004 : Did anyone watch American Idols last night? Isn't Ryan Seacrest cute? RRAAAVVIII!!!!
July 24, 2004 : Where's Prasad?...Which one? Both!
August 7, 2004 : Vijay has a new puppy...AAAAWWWWWWWW!!
August 14, 2004 : Badri, the brochure is really pretty, but don't you think you can make it better?

As you can see, the ISoP board and it's volunteers worked very hard to make this year's picnic a success. And it paid off, with hundreds of people coming together to celebrate India's Independence as well as Unity and Freedom in the Indian Community. Singing "Rain Rain go away" obviously worked and gave us a beautiful day. There was great music, great food, a vocal game of cricket, an unusual version of volleyball, people making pretty visors, cute kids, screams of joy after winning a prize, some great dancing talent, and we think we found the Indian version of N'Sync. Take a look at the pictures below if you don't believe me. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. Congratulations to all of the prize winners. Thank you to everyone that helped make the picnic a success, and we hope to see everyone in August of 2005.
